Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Shift Manager Environmental Health & Safety in our Cleveland, Tennessee Stamping Facility. The Shift Manager Environmental Health & Safety is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management of daily health & safety facility requirements including prevention, training, inspection and supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong teamwork mentality with interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering and facilitating a wide variety of courses including Forklift, Overhead Crane, Lockout tagout and aerial work platform.
- Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses and hazards are investigated to determine root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
- Support Safety Interactions during daily safety walks and perform Field Verification of Critical Control assessments to identify exposures
- Maintain an active presence on the production floor to provide coaching, mentoring, and support for EHS concerns.
- Act as a solution provider, coach, mentor and drive positive change.
- Maintain EHS training database
Minimum Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in an environmental health and safety position
Preferred Requirements:
- 2-3 yes of experience in an adult teaching / training role
- Post-Secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety is an asset
- ISO 14001/45001 internal/lead auditor experience is an asset
