Location: Ishpeming, Michigan

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Concentrating Plant Attendants at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position provides support for the concentrating process.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on plant equipment

• Attend to plant equipment in the grinding, crushing, concentrating, dewatering and other areas as required

• Perform plant clean-up duties such as hosing floors and shoveling

• Operate small equipment (i.e. loaders, forklifts, ect.)

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals

• Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace

• Excellent attendance record

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience working in an industrial plant setting
