Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs, has an immediate opportunity for an Environmental Health and Safety Representative in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Environmental Health and Safety Representative is responsible for supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an automotive production environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Manage claims and represent The Company in Health & Safety matters with external organizations such as the MOE, MOL and WSIB
- Audit assets and machinery to ensure compliance with company safety for employees, visitors, and contractor
- Read and coach leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the EHS Roles & Responsibilities according to the RASCI roles matrix. (Responsibility, Accountability, Support, Consulted, Informed - RASCI)
- Conduct job site safety inspections, including hazard analysis and safe work procedure reviews and environmental assessments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years working in the health and safety field in a manufacturing environment
- Experience and proven ability to provide technical training in material handling, LOTO, Confined Space
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree or college certificate related to Occupational Health and Safety
