This role is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of projects and engineering activities in connection with physical and technical aspects of the plant facilities operations, maintenance and improvements.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems and to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Analyzes electrical and mechanical engineering sketches/schematics
Responsible for preparing and leading major electrical projects
- Develops, implements and prioritizes projects with an emphasis on meeting strategic goals and needs
- Conducts investigations of new and proposed equipment, materials and processes, provides independent evaluations and recommendations for proposed actions
- Determines performance gaps through data collection and analysis, maintains and continually increases technical competency
- Evaluates purchased engineering services regarding to quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost
- Interacts with customers, suppliers and other departments, provides technical expertise to achieve continuous improvement
- Conducts safety and quality audits, documents conditions and improvement activities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

- Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
